The restaurants are places where we have eaten and we share our experiences good and bad. None of these establishment know that we are going in and are purely spur of the moment.
Please note the personal experiences are not to discredit a restaurant but point out a  personal dining experience and how situations were handled by the management staff or waiting staff.

Chilis Restaurant

Our son was served a partial raw chicken burger, the manager had acknowledged the complaint and realised the problem. we were charged for the items we had eaten & i asked for corporate office contact number which i did.
I spoke to a manager and i was offered a certificate to go back to chilis and i rejected it & i was transfered to legal & then a woman asked me what physical proof did i have to sugest that my son was fed raw meat by chilis. The only proof i had was the meal that they took away.
My son had an upset tummy and ended up with a slight headache which i treated at home unfortunately i did not purchase any medication therefore once again i had no proof. That conversation fell on deaf ears & we have never eaten at chili location.  In future take the evidence with you, if necessary go to the nearest hospital and if you purchase any medications keep the receipts.

Park Plaza restaurant

I award this restaurant 1/2 (half) out of 5 : For juggling my meals before i ate all the bread from the basket next to me!

Food: Not particularly happy
Food presentation: o.k, nothing special
Ambience: business lunches
Service: relaxed but quick to bring out dessert menu which know one tried & then the bill arrived

I went there for a PTA luncheon meeting. i ordered a mushroom wellington served with parmesan gratin potatoes. I received the mushroom wellington with mashed potatoes Yuck!! it was sent back to the kitchen and eventually my meal arrived again. On relection my meal looked o.k.. however i cut in to the gratin the couple of slithers of potatoes at the bottom loosened and were very dark, i placed them on the side of my plate. The mushroom wellington was almost cold.  So again... my meal went back to the kitchen this time to reheat the mushroom wellington: not replaced but rehreated under the salamander.
The pastry to the wellington had undercooked inner areas, the mushroom were totally underseasoned and surprisingly the potatoes were o.k. The sauce on my dish was a disppointing experience it was just too bland.

No apology offered & i had no time to complain as we were in a meeting!
$14.00 for wellington & $4.00 gratin potatoes

California

Hogs Breath Inn, Carmel
Star rating 2 out of 5 as they managed to get food on to the table.
Food: Crab was o.k rest of the meals were lacking in seasoning and the fries were warmish, $10.00 for quesadilla's was daylight robbery
Food presentation o.k, nothing special
Service: Unprofessional and Slow

8 of us turned up at this restaurant, not particularly busy around 2.00 p.m our order was taken and eventually it arrived. Our son had ordered Talapia taco instead they switched to salmon without consulting him or me. Thank goodness thee was no allergy problems.. Then again they offered him talapia this time grilled unfortunately he switched from fish to a chicken quesadilla, finally that had arrived unfortunatley  we had already eaten. Within a couple of mouthfuls of my son eating his quesadilla they presented us with a bill. DISAPPOINTING!!!
I contacted their complaints department and a manager was very apologetic for our experience. We no longer have our receipt but they were willing to make an effort to rectify the situation.

Total charge was $108.00 over priced for what we received.
